Batgirl #3 – This new title starring Stephanie Brown as the titular character hasn’t been bad but it hasn’t been good either, it has just been average. Still with Batman and Robin supposedly appearing in this issue maybe Miller can save this series from being cut from my pull list.

Batman #691 – I have actually been enjoying the latest Judd Winnick run on Batman.

As Flashback opens, we are introduced to thirty-two year old Jack Koryan. Jack has made his annual pilgrimage back to the beach near Carleton, Massachusetts, where his mother died under mysterious circumstances 30 years earlier.

As you all know I have been writing reviews for Rokk’s Comic Book Revolution. And I decided that since I do not post reviews for the comics that I review for the Revolution here on my blog during my weekly reviews I decided to re-post my reviews I do for the Revolution here as well.

Even though I am not a big Beta Ray Bill fan I got to admit this cover by Patrick Zircher made me almost want to pick this title up when I saw it at my LCS.

Here is our first look at American Son’s armor which is what Norman wants Harry to wear.

Gotta say I am excited to see Doctor Octopus back in Amazing Spider-Man and this tease to his return makes me hope the Spidey writers make his return as good as Norman’s has been in this story arc.

One of the perks of being a bad guy is that you don’t have to hold back in saying what is on your mind when you see a smoking hot girl as Peter was able to do here while acting as Venom.

It looks like Spider-Man was shot in the wrist.

I was actually surprised with how well Winick was able to write the original Dynamic Duo in this flashback.

It may be because I set my expectations very, very low due to the disappointing Battle for the Cowl and Winick not writing anything of note since Under the Hood but I actually enjoyed this issue.
